Page seventeen Saddle or bustier?

In continuation...I went to this textiles show with my brother Mike who knows this girl Emily who was in the show. She rides horses and had constructed a bustier made of saddle leather and metal. There was also art sewn onto canvas or some kind of fabric I guess that instead of painting was stitched! Among all of these beautiful pieces and cultured North Vancouverites, I learned that my brother and I had one thing in common..."get in and get out" policy.

A few weeks ago I attended the Capilano College Textiles graduate show. It was amazing and so creative! In my textiles class we're learning about fibers and weaves etc, so to see fabrics being created from scratch, from all different kinds of solutions and processes and form into art/clothes was like my notes coming to life in a way I didn't know was possible!

Page fifteen Vincent Park

okay well until it gets so hot I'm miserable...until then...I'm LOVING!!! some of the summer clothes appearing... popping up like the massive chemically injected tulips growing down the street from my apartment! Anyways, tell me you don't LOVE this sunglasses dress! It's at Vincent Park on Main street. They have the most beautiful clothing there... I dare you to check out their site...cause it doesn't stop at this dress! I assure you.
